UNITED FAITH ALLIANCE (UFA)

An organization consisting of Christian Outreach and other local congregations joining together to reach the community together as the body of Christ.

SINGLE PARENTS: KEEPING IT TOGETHER WHILE YOU ARE APART

Due to the increase in single-parent homes and divorces in our nation, C.O.P.I. has developed programs designed to help individuals to deal with issues that effect those going through life alone.

WOMEN IN TOUCH (W.I.T.)

Women need to know other women they can confide in concerning sensitive issues that effect women in particular. Therefore. W.I.T. was developed in order to encourage women to do just that, without fear of competition and humiliation. Women are not purely emotional, they are also intellectual, that is, they have wit. For that wit to come forth, it takes women who overcome their challenges, and mature into the women of God that they can be. W. I.T. programs include: Single Parenting Skills/Pregnancy, Dating & the Bible, Public Service Contacts for Singles, Discovering Your Ministry Gift(s), Widows of Wisdom, Coping with Divorce/Separation, Loving the Man in Your Life, Understanding the Differences Between Men & Women, Devotional Times for Your Emotional Times, and Mutual Submission.

Women In Touch With:

1.) God - the Person who understands when no one else can.

2.) Reality - there are issues that some women have not been socialized to realize. W.I.T. helps them to wake up and get in touch.

3.) Self - the major person who needs change.

NOT YOUR EVERYDAY CHURCH KITCHEN

The Outreach Commercial Kitchen serves as a restaurant cooking facility for guests. the sports bar, the light club (Christian Night Club), the soup kitchen for the poor, the school cafeteria and more!

MEN OF BENAIAH (M.O.B.)

Like W.I.T., Men of Benaiah (M.O.B.) provides an accountability group for men facing the challenges of manhood as a Christian. The programming is identical as that of their female counterpart only with a male perspective. Men of Benaiah also serve as mentors for young men in the church and the community. The Men of Benaiah deal with problems before they become big problems (self, home, church, and community), protect the authority established by God, and help raise a godly generation.

P.A.L. BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB

Christian Outreach understands the importance of physical activities for an individual's total well being. Special tournaments with local businesses and schools have been scheduled to promote community pride and involvement. In P.A.L. sports, every team and individual is a winner! P.A.L. sports include volleyball and basketball and will expand to include foot-ball, baseball, soccer, track and more.

SUCCESS INSTITUTE: A CARING LEARNING PROCESS

Positive Direction for Youth and Families has utilized the outreach complex for the site of its school called Success Institute. The school will utilize team sports to teach character values such as teamwork, work ethics, coping with failure, and habits of success. The educational curriculum is shared with that of the public schools and implemented by certified teachers. The school will also serve as daycare for K-8. The school's goal is to extend to the 12th grade.

THE OUTREACH FOUNDATION

The Outreach Foundation exist to help provide funding for the academic and social advancement of people in at-risk environments.
