What Is Outreach Academy?

A Relevant School
Outreach Academy (OA) is a private High School that uses creative teaching tech­niques tailored around its student's life goals and personal gifts. OA deems that education which is relevant to the person­al pursuits of the child will inspire him/her to excel academically due to understanding the connection between their studies and their future goals.

A Focused School
Curriculum at OA focuses on college preparatory styled learning, and special­ized field training which include econom­ics, the arts, medicine, technology, music, athletics, and more. OA utilizes national­ly proven courses of study including the state of North Carolina which will enable the student to be successful in standard­ized test taking as well as in being suc­cessful in today's competitive workforce.

A Personal School
Through the Teacher AB Mentor (TAM) program each student is personally taught in periodic one on one sessions with instructors to assure individual progress.

A Disciplined School
Because the major focus of OA is educa­tion, your child will benefit from the Military Excellence (ME) program whose slogan is "Discipline Makes ME Better." Since the armed forces has been instru­mental in developing great character and patriotism in both young men in women for centuries, ME assists OA in fostering morale among students, faculty and staff through implementing military attire, drills, and protocol which generate a strong structured learning atmosphere for all who are involved.

A Spiritually & Physically Aware School
Because every individual is both spiritual and physical, religious and fitness curricu­lum are also a part of your student's learning process. World religions and their impact on society are surveyed in order to
ensure student's understanding and toler­ance as our world and country becomes more diverse. In addition, physical fitness and diet are proven to ward off the onset of curtain diseases as well as stimulate the mind for learning. Team sports as a part of our fitness program additionally aids in developing the concepts of work ethic, teamwork, strategic planning, respect, and sportsmanship. OA's competi­tive team sports include: Basketball, Football, Tennis, Soccer, Baseball, and Golf, and more. 

A Tuition Supported School
OA has a set tuition fee of $2500 per year. However, scholarships and Income Based Tuition (IBT) programs may be available for students from low income back­grounds.
